Scotts Automotive Group Sydney, a fully owned subsiduary of VT Holdings based in Japan is seeking to employ a full time ‘Automotive Technician’ to join our team at Sydney City Honda / Sydney City Nissan Alexandria NSW

For the right candidate, who has a strong work ethic, skills, expertise, and experience to carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Full time Permanent Position!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carrying out quality and timely general servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
You must be fully qualified with an automotive technician's qualification and certificate.
A logical, methodical approach to problem-solving.
Carrying out fault finding and diagnosis.
Able to dismantle and remove engine parts and other components then repair or replace defective parts and reassemble.
Road test or check performance of vehicles after repair.
Providing accurate job records.
The ability to work quickly with attention to detail.
Ensure a safe and healthy working environment. Ensure that any risks to safety are identified, assessed and appropriate measures taken to eliminate and or control any risk to the safety of all people.
SALARY

Negotiable and above award and will take into consideration skill set and experience.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Current light vehicle mechanic trade qualified
Current NSW drivers license
Maintain a safe & organised work environment
Ability to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment
A desire to work as part of a team & looking to advance your career
A positive "can do" attitude & care about the quality of the work you do
The ability to work unsupervised as well as co-operatively in a team environment
