Looking for a Preschool teacher to join our growing team & lead a successful running preschool program (16mos-4yrs) in uptown Hoboken. Looking for an ideal candidate with prior experience as a Preschool Teacher and an education background in Early Childhood Education
Mon- Fri 8.15am-12.15pm (immediate start or as soon as possible)
$18-$19/hr based on experience
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Prepare lesson plans
Recommend innovate ideas to enhance children's learning
Manage the classroom
Prepare arts/crafts for class
Prepare classroom before kids arrival for daily activities
Generate daily reports for parents in app
Conduct daily class activities with another teacher (including but not limited to-circle time, story time, jumping songs, phonics, numbers, letters, sound recognition, calendar, weather, puppets, pretend play, puzzles, writing, tracing, coloring, pencil grip, sensory play etc.
Keep classrooms clean and wash toys
Sweep classrooms and clean/wipe tables
Follow all licensing guidelines and protocols,
Change diapers and take children to the bathroom
Help children with potty training
Take out classroom trash everyday
Keep supplies back in place after class
Refill disinfectant spray and soap for children
Looking for the below qualities:
Calm and soft-spoken
A committed educator
Creative
Outstanding communication skills
Highly organized
Capable of multi-tasking
- Must be familiar with apps such as Class Dojo for sending pictures and communications to parents
Qualifications and Requirements:
-Successful work history of at least 2 years in a Preschool with 16months-4years old
-A MANDATORY Extensive Background Check will be conducted
-If hired, First Aid training, CPR, and other trainings will be required
