Classroom Teacher Position (Contract)

Applicants should demonstrate:

a commitment to evidence-based best practices, with experience in or capacity to enact ******** and direct instruction approaches/strategies
an understanding of Structured Literacy
strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
the ability to use student assessment information to inform whole-class and targeted small group instruction
the ability to promote student wellbeing and engagement
the capacity to build and maintain professional, respectful, and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
a firm commitment to Catholic education
familiarity with and adherence to the school’s child-safe policy and code of conduct, as well as all other policies relating to child safety
Special Requirements:

accreditation to teach in a Catholic school, or a willingness to obtain accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic school
current VIT registration (or eligibility for graduates)
