Convergint is seeking an ambitious Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This is your chance to become part of a global leader in security, network, and audio-visual solutions.

About the Role:

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional client outcomes by providing proactive internal support and efficient coordination. The Sales Support Specialist works to ensure accurate quoting, CRM integrity and proposal consistency. Collaborating closely with Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Estimators and sales management, this role is essential in maintaining sales momentum, improving operational efficiency, and enabling consistent, professional client experience. This position plays a vital part in achieving business growth across our enterprise, electronic security, and AV solutions by strengthening internal processes and supporting the sales function to perform at its best.

Your responsibilities will include:

Sales Administration & Support: Assist AMs and BDMs in preparing quotes and proposals from detailed briefs. Format and maintain standardized quote and proposal templates. Manage and update sales pricelists in coordination with Procurement and leadership. Facilitate internal handover documentation from sales to project delivery teams. Manage incoming customer enquiries and route to appropriate sales contact.
Onboarding & Adoption: Lead and manage client onboarding processes to ensure smooth implementation of solutions. Proactively support clients in adopting and maximizing the use of our technology services.
CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM data including opportunities, client records, and status tracking. Ensure timely and accurate entry of opportunities, quotes, and client activity logs. Work closely with the sales team to track and report on deal progress and pipeline health.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Produce monthly sales activity, pipeline, and booking reports for the Sales Director and sales leadership. Assist with tracking against team KPIs and provide visibility into conversion rates and sales outcomes.
Sales Process Coordination: Liaise with internal estimating and procurement teams for pricing inputs. Coordinate with Project Management to ensure smooth handover of sold opportunities. Support tender and RFP submissions with data collation and formatting assistance. Support the team in tracking sales bookings and ensure booking confirmations are processed and documented.
Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Provide feedback to product, engineering, and delivery teams to enhance client offerings.
Market Research and Analysis: Assist sales leadership conducting market research to identify potential clients and opportunities.
Additional duties: Maintain proposal templates, documentation registers, and internal resource libraries. General administration duties that contribute to team productivity and effectiveness. Assist with onboarding of new sales staff with tools, documents, and processes.
What we’re looking for:

Experience: Experience supporting enterprise or critical infrastructure clients, prior exposure to AV/IT/electronic security industry tools and terms, understanding of sales KPIs and reporting frameworks and knowledge of procurement or project handover processes
Skills: Highly organized and efficient with strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision and strong sense of initiative, accountability, and professionalism.
Technical proficiency: Familiarity with technology services, IT, electronic security, or AV solutions, ability to understand client business needs and translate them into actionable plans, proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, Netsuite, Qwilr or similar), comfortable formatting and editing sales documents, quotes, and templates, ability to interpret technical information from estimates or product data sheets (ideal, not mandatory)
