In this role, you'll:


Develop a deep understanding of system functionality and design as well as target state outcomes to ensure that technical specifications are aligned, feasible, sustainable and scalable.

Conduct workshops for detail requirement gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, identify acceptance criteria and produce artefacts for business stakeholder presentation and agreement.

Undertake system health assessment to identify gaps and contribute to the recommendations for system uplift or replacement.

Develop business/system requirements to align to the needs of the business tactically and strategically, ensuring business expectations are met.

Source, develop and maintain currency of artefacts to support project needs.

Conduct assessments to evaluate the implications of proposed changes and document business rules, functions, and requirements.

Liaise with vendor, business and technical teams to ensure the successful completion of development and acceptance test cases

Be part of a bigger team in sharing knowledge, lessons learnt, create IP, document them in the knowledge repository and ensure currency of artefacts.

About you


Strong experience in defining requirements for various systems used in road transport operations, PSN networks, radio channels, and network protocols.

Proven ability to write detailed specifications for telephone and radio communication systems.

Skilled in developing requirements and use cases for the integration of telephone and radio communication systems.

Able to review and understand network architecture across all layers and sites, ensuring alignment with system requirements and integration needs.

Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in a related field.

Experience working on complex technology programs, including data analysis and solution delivery.

Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable work packages.

Proven capability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience conducting workshops for requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.

Comfortable working onsite, with business and operations teams, for all days of the week.
