Job Description: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: California (Los Angeles, Oakland, Hayward, Fremont, Carmichael)
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Pay Range: $50 – $53 per hour
Class: PTA

Position Summary

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our team across multiple California locations. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on improving mobility, function, and quality of life for diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercises, functional training, and mobility activities to patients.
Document patient progress and report changes to supervising Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and care strategies.
Ensure compliance with state practice laws, facility policies, and professional standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements

Active California PTA License (required).
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
Prior inpatient, outpatient, or rehab experience preferred.
