About the Role:

Join our dynamic team as a Lymphoedema Therapist Grade 2. This part-time, ongoing opportunity (0.42 EFT / 32 hours per fortnight) is available within our outpatient Lymphoedema Services team. Suitable for a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist being positioned across our Moorabbin, Casey and Cranbourne sites.


Key responsibilities include:

Provide direct patient care to patients with Lymphoedema
Facilitate excellent clinical care for our outpatients with Lymphoedema
Provide support and supervision to junior staff

Your skill in the assessment and treatment of upper and lower limb lymphoedema, along with your sound knowledge of compression garment prescription and providers will enhance the journey for our patients at some of their most vulnerable times. The Monash Health Lymphoedema Service is a dynamic team made up of dedicated, highly skilled Allied Health clinicians. You will be part of a well-integrated team with an emphasis around positive culture and proactive management. This role is well supported by the Grade 4 Lymphoedema Service Clinical Lead and Grade 3 Lymphoedema Therapist and will see you work collaboratively with a fantastic group of people who are inclusive, passionate and share a vision to provide excellent, evidence-based care for patients and their families.


About You:

To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Ambition to grow your clinical skills and expand your knowledge
Proactive and team oriented attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and prioritisation skills in an outpatient environment

Mandatory requirements of the role:

A relevant Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy qualification with unrestricted AHPRA registration
Clinical experience in the management of upper and lower limb lymphoedema
Sound clinical reasoning skills with experience in providing clinical education and staff supervision
Australasian Lymphology Association Level 1 and Level 2 Lymphoedema Training Courses, or the equivalent
