About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Recruitment Coordinator who brings energy, creativity, and a love for people to everything they do. With opportunities to strengthen our employer brand and recruit our future workforce, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruitment Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This is a key role that will partner with stakeholders across the business to drive end to end recruitment, ensuring that GEO continues to attract, engage, and retain talent at our Ravenhall Correctional Centre.

You will lead recruitment initiatives and support talent acquisition processes. As an integral part of the Human Resources team, you will ensure seamless coordination of the end-to-end recruitment process in a fast-paced environment. This includes recruitment of internal positions supporting development opportunities and employment changes. This role also offers an exciting opportunity to build an employee values proposition, contribute to workforce planning, engage with candidates, build strong and trustworthy relationships with stakeholders and contribute to a high-performing team.

Key Accountabilities:

Candidate experience: From first hello to offer letter, you’ll make sure every candidate feels like important.
Efficient organisation: Schedule interviews, prep panels, and keep things running smoother than a barista on a Monday morning.
Brand champion: Help us tell our story! You’ll bring our Employee Value Proposition to life through job ads, social media, and recruitment campaigns.
Strategic workforce: Support workforce planning by keeping tabs on hiring trends, talent gaps, and future needs.
Compliance and continual improvement: Keep our data up to date, our contracts accurate, and our onboarding seamless, while looking for opportunities to streamline.
Culture connector: Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to make sure our employer brand shines inside and out.
Skills and Experience:

Tertiary qualification in HR and/or experience across HR functions with a recruitment focus
Experience handling conflicting priorities and meeting strict deadlines, whilst managing expectations of stakeholders (internal and external)
Solution-focused with a high level of self-drive and proactive decision-making
Ability to interpret and adhere to Industrial Relations (IR) instruments, and workplace policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships across the business
Commitment to HR best practices with the ability to remain objective in decision making
Strong attention to detail and ability to show accuracy in documentation
Previous recruitment experience in a complex and dynamic organisation
About Ravenhall Correctional Centre
Ravenhall Correctional Centre is part of The GEO Group Australia, based west of Melbourne and is Victoria's largest prison for adult sentenced and unsentenced males. It's contemporary campus-style design provides a safe and humane environment that enables and nurtures GEO's Continuum of Care operating philosophy.

Ravenhall also has a dedicated Forensic Mental Health Unit, a specialised Closed Supervision Unit for prisoners with significant challenging behaviours, and a small Mission Based Unit for prisoners who have never been in custody before. In recognition of the importance of Continuum of Care, Ravenhall extends its presence into the community by providing ex-prisoners with access to post-release support at GEO’s Community Reintegration Centre
