Job Summary

This IT Support Professional role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing operational and guest-facing IT solutions within the hospitality industry.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing day-to-day support of all internal hotel IT systems, minimizing any system outages and ensuring smooth operations. You will also be required to record any IT-related issues that arise and communicate them to the IT Manager, ensuring that any issues requiring further attention are addressed promptly.

Your Responsibilities
• IT Systems Support: Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of all internal hotel IT systems to ensure seamless operations.
• Issue Tracking & Reporting: Record and track IT-related issues, communicating them to the IT Manager and escalating as necessary.
• System Improvement Suggestions: Identify areas for improvement within the hotel's IT systems and recommend enhancements to the IT Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• IT Experience: Previous experience in IT, preferably within the hotel, leisure, or service sectors.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft systems and applications, knowledge of hotel applications such as Fidelio and Micros is preferred.
• Organizational & Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with both team members and guests.
• Current Technical Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and technical skills to support hotel IT systems effectively.
