WHY FRSA

As part of the BUNZL Group, Fire Rescue Safety Australia (FRSA) specialises in the supply and routine service, maintenance, commissioning, and overhaul of emergency response equipment.

FRSA has dedicated technical service and repair centres located in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, which are staffed by highly skilled and competent technicians, delivering measurable and sustained compliance and operational readiness of critical lifesaving equipment.

YOUR ROLE

As a Entry Level Service Technician with FRSA, you will learn how to service, maintain, and support critical emergency response equipment. Working alongside experienced technicians, you’ll gain hands on training with equipment such as breathing apparatus, gas detection systems, and hydraulic rescue tools.

This role is ideal for someone starting their technical career who wants to develop skills in a specialised and rewarding field. You will:

Assist with routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs.
Support the team with equipment testing, preparation, and reporting.
Learn how to diagnose faults and work towards completing repairs under supervision.
Travel with senior technicians to customer sites across Victoria and Tasmania.
Grow into the role by building technical knowledge and customer service confidence.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and get hands on experience. You don’t need to be highly experienced — what matters is your attitude and willingness to develop.

Full Australian working rights.
Interest in mechanics, electrical work, or hands on technical roles.
Strong problem solving mindset and a willingness to learn on the job.
Basic computer literacy and ability to complete reports and forms.
Good communication skills with a customer first approach.
Current driver’s licence essential.
Willingness and ability to travel for work (generally Monday to Friday).
Ability to obtain a National Police clearance (we’ll support you through the process).
If you’re motivated, reliable, and ready to kickstart your career in a technical role that makes a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
