Job description
As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for the valuation of businesses and intangible assets. Key activities include:
• Valuing businesses and intangible assets for various accounting standards, including ASC 350, ASC 360, and ASC 805.
• Analyzing historical financial and operating results to identify business trends and risks.
• Challenging assumptions related to future financial projections.
• Developing discount rates and conducting financial statement analysis.
• Performing market research and developing industry growth estimates.
• Constructing and reviewing valuation and financial models.
• Assisting with the design and preparation of valuation reports and other client deliverables.

You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality services to our clients. What we are looking for in the role includes:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in fair value, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments.
• A fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory and methodologies.
• Experience with traditional valuation methods, such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and guidance transaction method.
• Comprehensive experience with financial databases, including Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
• A track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects and delivering under tight deadlines.
• Functional understanding of financial statements analysis and ability to work through key assumptions and limitations.
• Demonstrated technical skills working with financial models in Excel.
