Roles and Responsibilities

- Collaborate closely with sales, buying, and production teams to ensure that the products align with customer preferences, market trends, and price points.
- Oversee the process of checking patterns that are cut and sewn into sample garments and for mass production.
- Implement a top-notch design and merchandising process specifically for the denim product category.
- Responsible for selecting fabrics, trims, styles, and accessories, including packaging, for development samples.
- Consider technical guidelines from various departments when choosing styles, fabrics, and trims to ensure the feasibility of bulk production.
- Conceptualize and create designs either through hand sketches or computer-based software.
- Work collaboratively with the design team, product development, and trend forecasters to develop products that meet specific requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging fashion trends, competition, and general fabric and color trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in designing menswear, particularly in the casual or denim category. Additionally, candidates should hold a fashion degree from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology).,
