Job Opportunity: Co-Director Anaesthetics Department & Consultant Anaesthetist
Location: Regional Victoria (3h from Melbourne)

We are seeking an experienced Medical Professional for the role of Co-Director at Anaesthetics Department in a regional healthcare facility located in regional Victoria. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your leadership and clinical expertise in a busy perioperative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialist anaesthetist and perioperative services within your clinical scope.
Participate in Anaesthesia Clinics, ensuring thorough documentation in line with professional standards.
Continuously monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and best practices.
Support the delivery of best-practice pain management as per professional standards.
Offer consultancy services for High Dependency Unit (HDU) patients (e.g., CVC placement, arterial lines).
Join the on-call roster for anaesthetics and be available for recall when needed.
Respond to clinical emergencies as per established policies and procedures.
Supervise, educate, and mentor Doctors-in-Training.
Required qualifications:
Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).
Extensive experience in anaesthesia and perioperative services.
