We’re currently hiring a full-time, mother’s helper for a warm, mission-driven family in Hillsborough. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to join a household with infant twins and grow alongside the family over time.

👶 The Role:
This is a mother’s helper position that supports a parent-led childcare environment. You’ll assist with the day-to-day rhythms of infant care, provide emotional warmth, and help keep the household flowing smoothly. It’s ideal for a caregiver who is respectful, collaborative, and excited to become a consistent, loving presence in the family’s home. Specifically looking for someone who would be predominantly a mother's helper around the house, and able to step in for childcare help as needed. Familiarity with Mandarin Chinese is a huge bonus. There is an option to live in if that would be the preferred arrangement, and a great fit.
Responsibilities Include:
• Gentle, nurturing support for infant twins
• Working side-by-side with mom, taking cues and offering flexible help
• Light household duties related to baby care (bottles, tidying nursery, laundry)
• Offering calm and mobile hands-on support throughout the day
• Supporting the developmental needs of young infants in a loving way
✅ You’re a Great Fit If You:
• Have recent infant experience (within the last 5 years), especially with babies under 1 year
• Are physically active and mobile — able to move with ease through a busy day
• Are deeply patient, calm, and emotionally present around babies
• Are excited to form real emotional connections and become part of a family's daily life
• Are comfortable with a mother-led dynamic and open to ongoing feedback
• Are mid-career with some professional childcare experience and a desire to grow
• Speak English comfortably (Mandarin fluency as a first language is a strong plus)
• Are CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
• Can provide up-to-date vaccination records (COVID + booster, flu, MMR, TB)
• Are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
