Data Engineer
Purpose:
At Centrilogic, we've been helping clients worldwide with their digital transformation journeys for over 15 years. As a premier global provider of multi-cloud management and cloud-native application development solutions, our team works closely with companies creating innovative products in uncharted markets.
We're looking for a passionate and experienced Data Engineer to join our team of 70 Software, Data, and DevOps engineers. Together, we guide and assist clients' data modernization journey, bringing senior engineers, leading-edge technologies, and creative thinking to help them reach their full potential.
In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact with our clients, working daily to modernize their data infrastructures, architecture, and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Consulting clients on cloud-first strategies for core bet-the-company data initiatives.
Providing thought leadership on process and technical matters.
Becoming a trusted advisor to our clients on all facets of Data Engineering.
Designing, developing, deploying, and supporting the modernization and transformation of our client's end-to-end data strategy.
Mentoring and educating client teams to keep them up-to-date with the latest approaches, tools, and skills.
Required Experience and Skills:
Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or Fabric Data Engineer Associate certification.
Experience working in consulting or contracting capacity in large data management and modernization programs.
Knowledge of SQL Servers, data engineering on platforms like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse.
Familiarity with Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture.
Strong understanding of securing Azure environments, including RBAC, Key Vault, and Azure Security Center.
Experience with Kafka and Spark in production environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly resolve issues.
Knowledge of Scala or Python programming languages.
Linux administration and networking experience.
Scripting skills and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using PowerShell, Bash, and ARM templates.
Understanding of security and corporate governance issues related to cloud-first data architecture.
