Job Title: Accountant (2 Years Experience)

Education: B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)

Industry Preference: Banking

Availability: Immediate Joiner Preferred

Job Summary:

We are now seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking or financial services domain, to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting tasks, assist with financial reporting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain and update financial records (ledgers, journals, etc.) accurately

· Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments

· Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings

· Bank reconciliations and vendor account reconciliations

· Handle petty cash, expense reports, and reimbursements

· Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for operational requirements

· Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

· Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns

· Provide support to the finance team on ad hoc tasks as needed

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com)

· Minimum 1 year of accounting experience

· Preference for candidates with experience in the banking or financial services domain

· Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.)

· Basic understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles

· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

· Good communication skills (written and verbal)

· Immediate joiners preferred
