Job Overview

A prestigious Grade 3- Grade 8 tutoring & education institution in the city of Richmond Hill is currently seeking qualified and experienced French teacher for the 2026-2026 school year. This role involves teaching French language skills to students and creating an engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

· Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards

· Create formal teaching resources/materials to guide and support students’ learning

· Teach French language skills, including speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension

· Utilize various teaching methods/tools to enhance the learning experience

· Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students/parents in a formal format

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in French/Education or a related field; certification in teaching French or OCT is preferred.

· Proven experience as a French teacher or in a related field, French immersion teacher experience is a plus

· Experience of working with children in an educational setting is essential
