Job Overview
Are you a Small Engine Mechanic with a passion for Powersports? Do you love working on motorcycles, ATVs, Side by Sides and other high-performance machines? We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Small Engine Mechanic to join our team and keep our customers’ rides performing at their best.
Full Throttle Power Sports in located in Dartmouth Crossing in a state of the art building serving all of HRM and surrounding areas. We carry the full BRP line up of Can Am ATV & Side by Sides, Can Am Spyder, Origin & Pulse Electric Motorcycles, Ski Doo Snowmobiles and Sea Doo Personal Watercraft.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostics & Repairs: Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, Side by Sides, snowmobiles, and other Powersports vehicles.
Maintenance Services: Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake servicing, suspension work, and engine tune-ups.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and performance issues efficiently.
Custom Work & Upgrades: Install aftermarket parts, accessories, and performance upgrades as requested.
Safety & Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
Customer Interaction: Communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors and, when needed, directly with customers.
Shop Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest Powersports technologies, repair techniques, and industry advancements.
What We’re Looking For:
Powersports Enthusiast: Passion for motorcycles and other recreational vehicles.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems in Powersports vehicles.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and repair issues quickly and accurately.
Experience: Prior experience working in a Powersports dealership or service center is preferred.
Detail-Oriented: Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy parts, standing for extended periods, and performing manual labor.
