Flip Booth Technician

Full job description
Job Objective
The flip booth technician will directly interface with the trucker requesting a flip of a container from one chassis to
another. The technician, based on company rules will determine if a flip is chargeable or non-chargeable. Under
direction from the Flip Booth Manager, the flip booth technician will perform daily record keeping and updates as
well as hardware cleaning and maintenance. This technician will provide prompt and courteous service to all
drivers who require assistance.


Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for flip request authorization search, work order input, and records upkeep.
Issue management and resolution
Fluid communication with BNSF management and Con Global lift operators for fluid operations.
Successfully diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve driver flip issues.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and support problems.
Dedication to customer satisfaction
Work closely with service vendors to ensure continuity of service.
Assist in implementing practices that will more effectively help Buckeye Mountain customers.
Trains users on software and hardware on-site, as required.
Document procedures as required.
Assists in miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Attention to detail when performing repetitive tasks.
Ability to multitask.
Eighteen years of age or older
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to communicate effectively over the phone.
Active listening skills
Computer experience and aptitude
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Commitment to embrace innovation, technology, and continued growth.
Background in a customer service or call center is preferred.

Flip Booth is located within the BNSF Logistics Park Chicago rail facility.
