Our Special Care Nursery is a Level 2 unit with 13 nursery beds, caring for babies born from 32 weeks. The wider Maternity Ward consists of 7 modern birthing suites and 38 beds for antenatal and postnatal care, creating a dynamic environment that supports mothers, newborns, and families throughout their journey.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Nurse looking to be part of a dynamic, close-knit team comprising a mix of experience and early career staff.

You will be support from the beginning through tailored orientation and ongoing education opportunities provided by our dedicated maternity education team.

Your Skills and Experience

AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum one years’ post graduate experience within maternity
Recent experience in Special Care Nursery
Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant post graduate qualifications highly regarded though not essential

Remuneration

A base hourly rate between $37.75 - $53.02 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (NSW Registered Nurse/Midwife Year 1-8).

Requirements

Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
