Carpenter

Job Overview
We are seeking 1 x skilled Carpenters to join our team. Our office is located at located at 1259 Scarth Street, Regina, SKS4R 2E6. Work is carried out on various construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience as a as a Carpenter. This is a full time position. Primary language at work is English. Hours per week is 35-40 hours with a salary of $33.60 per hour.

Duties

Use of various power tools used in framing and construction field
Framing and some concrete forming
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Measure, cut, and join building materials
Maintain and repair residence and wooden/ steel structures in apartments, condos, townhouses, and other establishments.
Fit and install interior trim, doors, molding and hardware; install exterior trim
Install any kind of flooring, windows, doors
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
Maintain, repair and renovate residences
Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
May prepare cost estimates for clients.
Other related duties.
Qualifications

Proven minimum 1 year experience as a Carpenter
Must have completed at least High School
