Framing Carpenter/Site Labour

Job description

1.Measuring, cutting and installation stud to required dimension as per design drawings.

2.Install gypsum board and apply tapping

3.Wooden door frame installation

4.Work at heights

5.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

6.Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets

7.Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation

8.Follow through of building code and corporate safety requirements onsite.

9.Perform touch ups and repairs as required.

10.Carpentry work that falls outside of the scope of work of vendors.

11.Perform frame checks and mechanical checks.

12.Perform structural adjustments to framing.

13.Proficient knowledge and use of power tools such as air nailers, skill saw, Screw gun.

14.Experience or willingness to be trained on Skid Steer loader is an asset

15. Be hardworking, motivated, and have a positive attitude.

16. Follow direction well while working independently and with others in a fast-paced environment.

Wage will be based on experience and benefit package is available after probation period.
