Window and Door Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in renovation and carpentry. This role requires expertise in installing windows and doors, ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and client specifications. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a team, and committed to delivering exceptional results. This is a full time job available immediately for working taking out and replacing residential windows and doors throughout the Edmonton area. We meet daily in the West end of Edmonton before going to someone's home for the day.

Responsibilities

Install windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
Perform caulking, sealing, and insulation as necessary to ensure energy efficiency.
Conduct restoration work on existing structures as needed.
Custom bending aluminum and cladding window exteriors.
Exterior siding and framing work.
Interior finishing and carpentry.
Spray foam insulation.
Setting up ladders and scaffolding, working at heights and on roof tops.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements

Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to window/door installation. Must know how to read a tape measure.
Experience in restoration work is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Reliable. Own a vehicle and come to work on time ready to work Monday-Friday.
Work year round through winter and summer.
Proper PPE, safety shoes/boots, workwear. Some allowance and provisions available.

Pay: $22.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
