Carpenter- Residential & Commercial Projects

Job Summary
ESW Building Services Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong craftsmanship, the ability to work with a variety of materials, and proficiency in both residential and commercial project settings. This position requires precision, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair wood structures, fixtures, and finishes.
Install baseboards, trim, kitchens, and hollow-core doors.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
Assemble cabinets, furniture, and other custom pieces according to specifications.
Assist with drywall installation and finishing as required.
Perform heavy lifting and transportation of materials and equipment on job sites.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
Qualifications & Skills

Proven carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction.
Strong measuring skills and accuracy with tape measures.
Knowledge of drywall installation processes.
Familiarity with masonry techniques, including brick and stonework, is an asset.
Proficiency with hand tools and safe operation of power tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
