Senior Mobile Engineer (Flutter)

$200,000 + Equity
We’re working with a rapidly scaling startup at the intersection of hospitality, lifestyle, and technology. The company is building a mobile platform that makes premium leisure experiences more accessible—whether that’s wellness, events, or curated activities. Backed by leading investors, the team is expanding its engineering group to deliver a seamless, consumer-facing product used by a fast-growing community of members.
The Role:
As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in scaling a Flutter-based mobile app that connects people to experiences they love. You’ll help define technical direction, ship new features, and ensure performance and reliability at scale. This hybrid role requires three days per week onsite in NYC and emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and building products that elevate how people spend their free time.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading the design, development, and launch of new mobile features across iOS and Android
• Partnering with product and design to deliver intuitive, user-centered experiences
• Ensuring app performance and scalable architecture patterns
• Writing clean, testable code and setting standards through reviews and mentorship
• Monitoring analytics and crash data to drive proactive improvements
• Contributing to infrastructure and tooling decisions (CI/CD, testing, deployment pipelines)
• Providing input on future web initiatives (Next.js) as needed
Requirements:
• Strong background in mobile development, with deep experience in Flutter and Dart
• Proven track record of publishing apps to both the App Store and Google Play
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture, REST APIs, and reactive programming
• Comfortable with Figma and modern design systems
• Familiarity with Next.js and React is a plus
• Experience with Firebase, CI/CD pipelines, and A/B testing in production environments
• Knowledge of AWS services (EKS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway) preferred
• Startup experience highly valued; thrives in fast-paced, user-focused environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
