Senior Software Engineer - Shopify/FinTech Integrations

Full Stack (Backend-leaning | TypeScript)

London / Hybrid - 1 day per week in-office

Up to £90k DOE + MacBook Pro + £600 wellbeing allowance

What You'll Do
• Build and enhance core systems that drive the customer experience
• Work across the stack, with a backend focus in TypeScript & AWS
• Lead API integration efforts, especially with Shopify
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform
• Embrace AI tools to boost productivity and automate wherever possible

Tech Stack
• Languages: TypeScript (core), Python/Ruby (data flow)
• Frontend: React preferred; Angular, Vue, or Node.js welcome
• Infrastructure: AWS
• Databases: Neo4j (nice to have)
• Integrations: Shopify

About You
• Strong experience with TypeScript on the backend
• Confident managing complex API integrations (Shopify a big plus)
• Comfortable with React, Python, or similar technologies
• Experienced in cloud-first environments (AWS)
• Background in startups or scale-ups
• Passionate about automation and leveraging AI in development

Bonus Points For:
• Graph databases like Neo4j
• Experience with payment gateways or fraud detection systems
• Knowledge of MongoDB/Mongoose
• Familiarity with CATIA or other CAD system integrations
• Experience with A/B testing, analytics, and growth experiments
