Location: Remote

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate Mesa Graphics Software Developer to join our team, where you will have the opportunity to influence technology solutions for our clients. You will engage directly with clients, presenting our innovative approaches at conferences and trade shows to highlight our leadership in the open-source realm.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with clients to discuss and understand their technology needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, showcasing our open-source leadership.
• Identify and analyze client challenges, proposing innovative solutions using open-source technologies.
• Collaborate closely with our delivery team to define and prioritize client project scopes.
• Contribute to open-source projects actively, ensuring our clients maintain their technical edge.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients' products, technical and business strengths, and market goals.
• Balance client requirements with available technologies and best open-source practices.

Required Skills:
• Experience with contributions to the Mesa 3D Graphics Library, including OpenGL, Vulkan, DRI, and Gallium drivers.
• Proficiency in Linux and solid experience in its administration.
• Familiarity with open-source development practices and active involvement in related communities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fully distributed online work environment.

Desired Skills:
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, LAVA, and GitLab CI, along with testing frameworks like Piglit, GL/Vulkan CTS, and dEQP.
• A strong desire for self-learning to develop a thorough understanding of our clients' services and project delivery lifecycle.
• A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
