About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Foreign Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires hands-on experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, budgeting, and audit support. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Review and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accountants and accounting staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Cross-Border Transactions
• Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Prepare documentation for international transactions to comply with transfer pricing and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and maintain foreign bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.

Collaboration & Communication
• Work closely with local finance teams, management, and other departments to ensure alignment on financial reporting and strategic goals.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to business units on international finance and accounting issues.
• Liaise with international stakeholders to resolve accounting matters and provide regular financial updates.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, XERO, ZOHO, MYOB, SAGE, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ready to learn new software and able to train team members effectively
