Purpose

The Carpenter/Laborer will provide skilled support to Ste. Anne's Construction team. They will perform various construction tasks, with emphasis on carpentry.

Specific Duties

Concrete - footings, ICF, small pads
Framing - stick framing, walls and rafters, setting trusses, sheeting walls and roofs
Roofing - shingles, steel
Installing exterior doors and windows
Proficient with interior finishes - drywall, flooring such as tile and hardwood, installing interior doors and trim
Key Responsibilities:

Safe use and understanding of power tools such as saws, drills, hand tools, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance on tools/equipment, and/or report any broken tools/equipment to manager.
Wear appropriate PPE and weather-appropriate clothing.
Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Keep Manager in the loop on low materials and issues on the job.
Maintain work areas, construction areas, and outdoor areas in a safe, neat and orderly condition.
Requirements:

Capable of lifting 50-100 lbs on a regular basis.
Monday to Friday regular schedule, but willing to stay late or come in early if occasionally required to meet tight deadlines or complete critical tasks.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Ability to work independently as well as a team.
