About The Role
Based at our Highbrook branch, the Dangerous Goods Agent is responsible for ensuring all dangerous goods moving throughout the network and branch successfully meet all relevant legal and business requirements. The training for this role, will take place at our Highbrook branch.
You will inspect all Dangerous Goods which travel through the branch and sort dangerous goods items into their appropriate cages based on destination. Communication with the Team Leader sand Supervisors is crucial, to ensure all enquiries, complaints and problems are resolved in a timely manner. You will also be comfortable with maintaining daily reports, as well as additional documentation, manuals and guidelines to ensure the retention of business standards.
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week.
About You
Previous working experience in the logistics industry is desirable
Strong attention to detail
Physically fit, some lifting may be required
IATA DG training and qualifications are desirable
Punctual and reliable
You are someone who priorities Health and Safety and consistently adheres to all policies
