Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable plumber to join our team in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. He should have a strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Maintenance:

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning drains and replacing worn parts.

2. Inspection and Diagnosis: Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues such as leaks, clogs, or damage. Diagnose problems and develop solutions to address plumbing issues.

3. Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and clients to complete projects on time and within budget.

4. Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards at all times. Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience as a plumber, with a minimum of 3 years in the field.

2. Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Physical Ability: Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights).

We largely operate core hours Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, but during periods of high demand the team is expected to work flexibly to ensure continuity of the service. You will be part of an on-call rota team covering business critical issues out of hours and at weekends, with overtime paid in addition to the call out allowance for attendance on site.
Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual with a City and Guilds Level (or equivalent) in plumbing. You should be a great problem-solver, knowledgeable about health and safety, and committed to upholding our values.

Essential Requirements:
• Craft trade apprentice, trained to City and Guilds Level in the core trade or equivalent qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Current domestic gas safe qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in a building services environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment.
• Strong experience with health and safety risk management techniques.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to your work and hours.
• Evidence of upholding our behaviours as detailed within the accompanying person specification.
