Job description
A leading FM company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join their team on a large R and D site in Abingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to secure a permanent position with a competitive salary and great benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a mix of planned preventive maintenance (PPMs) and reactive plumbing work.

Handle minor mechanical maintenance and new project installations.

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and complies with all relevant regulations.

Package And Benefits

Salary: Up to GBP38,164.85 per annum

Holiday: Generous 33 days of annual leave

Pension: Comprehensive pension plan

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM : 4:30 PM

Requirements

Relevant plumbing qualifications and proven experience.

The ability to obtain a DBS check.

Job Title: Site Plumber

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of site plumbing, with the ability to carry out 1st fix, mid fix, and 2nd fix to a high standard. You will be working on a variety of projects, ensuring all installations meet industry regulations and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out all stages of plumbing work: 1st fix, mid fix, and 2nd fix
• Install, test, and maintain water supply systems, heating systems, and sanitary fixtures
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Work efficiently to project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations on site
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues as they arise

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years’ site plumbing experience
• Strong knowledge of all plumbing systems and installation practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant trade qualifications/certifications (NVQ or equivalent preferred)
• Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
