• What you'll be doing:
• Carrying out domestic and commercial plumbing work on reinstatement and restoration projects.
• Installing and maintaining plumbing systems, including bathrooms, kitchens, and pipework.
• Supporting refurbishment and renovation projects as part of wider insurance repairs.
• Working closely with customers to deliver a smooth, professional service.
• Collaborating with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standard.
• What we're looking for:
• Qualified and experienced Plumber.
• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in high-quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Customer-focused, professional, and reliable approach.

Job description
The Bedford Estates Property & Maintenance team manage Residential and Commercial properties, set in the beautiful village of Woburn and surrounding areas. The team also maintains Woburn Abbey, Woburn Golf Club and Woburn Safari Park. We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated Multi Skilled Plumber to join our growing Maintenance Team on a full-time basis. The Multi-skilled Plumber will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plumbing systems across the Estate portfolio. Using technical expertise to deliver repairs, installations, and maintenance to high customer satisfaction levels. This role requires attention to detail, strong organisational, technical, and problem-solving skills. You will report to the Head of Building Maintenance and work alongside fellow Surveyors, Maintenance Supervisors, and the Maintenance Co-Ordinator. Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose, repair, and replace plumbing systems across The Bedford Estate.
• To work as part of a small team of multi-skilled trades people and assist with other general maintenance duties as required.
• Perform work “right first time,” aiming to complete repairs in a single visit.
• To be aware that you are working in historical buildings and that therefore the up most care and attention is needed to the surroundings.
• To assist the Maintenance Co-Ordinator in maintaining records.
• To carry out Planned and Preventive maintenance.
• To be part of the Reactive Service Team call out Rota including bank holidays and weekends (attendance not required).
• To comply with the Health & Safety at work act and to maintain all documentation in accordance with H&S requirements.
• To attend training sessions as required.
What We’re Looking For
• Multi Skilled professional with a Plumbing bias.
• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent (essential).
• IT skills - Competent with PDA system.
• Full driving licence - Manual use (essential).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.
• Hardworking, flexible, and team oriented.
• Enthusiasm and a positive outlook.
