Job Description:

The Journeyman Service Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all types of plumbing systems, managing jobs, and service calls to completion, training and managing coworkers, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence by department and personnel to Company Core Values
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design ability of related plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and skills necessary for the complete installation of projects common to the commercial plumbing industry
• Install sanitary systems, water systems, fuel systems, fixtures, and mechanical equipment.
• Regular and predictable attendance is expected to meet the requirements of the position.
• Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local and national codes and industry standards.
• Ability to perform the following:
• Diagnose water heater/boilers/troubleshooting.
• Line locating/Sewer cameras.
• Steam systems
• Pumps/fixture install utility and piping systems.
• Minor repair of plumbing
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Work within guidelines of safety and employee policy

Qualifications:
• 4-year apprenticeship certificate or 4 years of experience (Journeyworker license preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction pipe-fitting practices and safety procedures.
• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining necessary licensing/certification for performing work in areas where required.
• Must possess basic Journeyman hand tools for plumbing.
• Valid Driver’s License and clear MVR
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical ensuring you can perform the duties of the job.

Job Description

The Plumbing Mechanic is responsible for directing the installation of plumbing and related systems, equipment, and fixtures. This role involves planning, laying out, participating in, and supervising plumbing work both on job sites and in the shop. The individual will work with considerable independence except on large construction and modification projects, where technical supervision is provided. Work assignments for maintenance and repair are received via Teams Construction software, written job requests, and emergency calls. The work is reviewed primarily by users of equipment and systems through observation and conferences during projects and upon completion. Construction and remodeling work is reviewed for compliance with specifications and building codes, and work is performed under general direction and supervision from leads on site.

Responsibilities
• Direct the installation of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Plan and lay out plumbing work on job sites and in the shop.
• Supervise and participate in plumbing work with independence.
• Receive work assignments through Teams Construction software, written job requests, and emergency calls.
• Ensure compliance with specifications and building codes during construction and remodeling projects.
• Collaborate with leads on site for direction and supervision.

Essential Skills
