Newcastle and Ultimo Campuses
2 x permanent full-time
Package range: $108,057 - $128,149. Package includes salary ($95,630-$113,411 per annum) employer's superannuation and annual leave loading. (Salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role
We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Maritime Studies students by joining our team of teachers for the following opportunities:
1 x permanent full-time - Newcastle Campus
1 x permanent full-time – Ultimo Campus

Essential Requirements:
Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of AMSA Master less than 45 metre certificate of competency or higher equivalent qualification.
Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details ) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course
Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry
Highly regarded but not essential:
Newcastle location: Chief Mate or Master Unlimited qualification with relevant merchant cargo vessel industry experience
Ultimo location: Marine Engine Driver Grade 1
Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
