Practice Care Assistant/Health Care Assistant

Are you an experienced Practice Care Assistant/Health Care Assistant with a passion for caring for people? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are a General Practice in North Shore covering two sites across Takapuna and Devonport seeking Primary Care Assistants with healthcare experience and a focus on high-quality patient care, strong communication, and teamwork. Offering a Permanent Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week.

Primary Care Assistants/Health Care Assistants work closely with nurses to ensure high-quality patient care, handling clinical and non-clinical tasks. Responsibilities encompass maintaining clinic efficiency, demanding strong communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, and teamwork. This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours across Monday to Friday.

Qualification in primary care is an advantage
Experience in the health care sector
Consistently accurate and a quick learner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong command of verbal and written English Ability to build strong rapport with team members
A physically fit person who is confident, friendly and approachable
Basic computer skills including MedTech 32/evolution
