Three Seeds Dunedin Limited T/A Lone Star Dunedin is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven Waitstaff to join our lively team. If you love creating memorable dining experiences, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring energy and warmth to every table, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service following the Lone Star Order of Service.
Greet and seat guests, take orders, and ensure all meals and drinks are delivered promptly.
Provide genuine hospitality, ensuring every guest feels welcome and valued.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar to maintain smooth service flow.
Accurately handle payments and operate the POS system when required.
Keep tables and service areas clean and well-presented throughout service.
Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring the restaurant is ready for guests and left spotless at the end of service.
Handle guest feedback and complaints calmly and professionally, escalating to the Manager on Duty when needed.
Follow all Lone Star standards, policies, and health & safety procedures.
Support the team by jumping in wherever help is needed – we’re all in this together!
Requirements for the Role:

Previous hospitality or customer service experience is beneficial, but not essential.
A genuine passion for people and creating great guest experiences.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physically fit and able to work on your feet in a busy environment.
Excellent presentation, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as per roster.

Pay rate: $23.50 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
