Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our organization.

As a Senior Accounting Professional, your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing the accounting function, including month-end close, quarterly close, and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensuring that accounting policies and procedures are applied consistently with corporate guidelines.
• Coordinating tax reporting requirements, working with external tax accountants to file federal, state, sales, and property tax returns.
• Collaborating with Corporate for internal audit and outside auditors for external audit.
• Ensuring that accounting records and reports are prepared in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.

Key qualifications and skills for this role include:
• Working knowledge of accounting software applications such as QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and eBay.
• Excellent communication skills to provide comfort to clients and stakeholders.
• Proficient knowledge of the English language (read, write, and speak).
• 4-6 years of experience as a US accountant in professional services firms.
• Working knowledge of accounting issues and standards (including US GAAP/IFRS) as applicable.
• Practical knowledge of payroll tax, sales, and use tax as applicable.

Preferred qualifications include a CA degree and experience working in multinational organizations and constantly changing environments.
