Whether you work at our headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove (BGTC) in Asheville, North Carolina, Blue Ridge Broadcasting (BRB) in Asheville, North Carolina or a field office abroad, you are part of a team of committed Christians working together to reach people to the ends of the earth with the Gospel.

Department Detail – Video Ministry Services award-winning team produces BGEA’s TV Specials, the “Billy Graham Classics”, original Christian documentaries, short features and ministry-support content. They distribute programming worldwide through television broadcast, DVD and internet “Video on Demand” through digital platforms such as Amazon, Netflix, Roku, iTunes, Redbox and many others.

Ministry Requirements
• Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer
• Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
• Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
• Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Edits programs, commercials, stories, segments, promos, and other assignments as instructed by the Video Producer(s) while adhering to strict professional broadcast audio and video standards
• Completes projects under the direction of the Video Producer with little or no supervision; sometimes called on in the editing role to act as an Associate Producer
• Contributes constructive video production ideas and overall organizational video strategies in production meetings, on video shoots, and during brainstorming sessions and production
• Ensures compliance with quality control standards on all projects assigned to edit suites
• Assists the Senior Manager Prodcution Operations by researching possible purchases on equipment related to the editing systems and the actual carrying out of an editor's duties

Continuing the lifelong work of Billy Graham, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association exists to support and extend the evangelistic calling and ministry of Franklin Graham by proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all we can by every effective means available to us and by equipping the church and others to do the same.

Statement of Faith

These core beliefs make up the foundation upon which all our ministry endeavors are based.
• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God revealing the love of God to the world. (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; John 3:16).
• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:4-6).
• We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (Matthew 1:23; John 1:1-4 and 1:29; Acts 1:11 and 2:22-24; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:1-4 and 4:15).
• We believe that all men everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God, that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, we believe that God will reward the righteous with eternal life in heaven, and that He will banish the unrighteous to everlasting punishment in hell. Job description
One of our large healthcare clients is seeking a Video Editor for a 5-20 hour / week engagement. This person will be responsible for but not limited to -

The video editing contractor candidate will possess knowledge and ability to create a compelling story based on a video file and provided script. Typically, the video editing contractor will receive an original file with time-stamped script that directs the key spots to cut in order to weave together a short and compelling story. The types of video stories include:

1. Short, one-person testimonials that last between one and three minutes. These cuts are usually minimal, ideally no more than two or three to tighten and weave together a few soundbites into one coherent social media-length video that is based on a created script with short intro and outro branding screens.

2. Longer one-person testimonials: Similar to the shorter version, these will rely on a provided script that will direct the time stamps for splices. These videos will include intro and outro and possibly transition screens with text.

3. Multi-source stories: These vary in length broadly between a couple minutes and as much as 10 to 15. They are based on two or more sources and will weave together a longer story built on a detailed script.
