We’re looking for a delivery-focused leader to join CBS as Head of Software Delivery — someone who can lead agile teams with clarity and purpose, and who thrives on turning complexity into structure and results.


Job Description

You’ll take the reins of our software delivery function at a pivotal moment. This role is ideal for someone experienced in Scaled Agile (SAFe), Scrum, SaaS, and cloud-native transformation. You’ll lead a team of approximately 12 Developers (NZ and remote) and be central to how they execute their product roadmap — from a managed package to scalable, cloud-first delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of our SaaS platform roadmap using Scaled Agile and Scrum methodologies
Working closely with the Solutions Architect, Product, QA and Customer Support to align priorities and deliver product excellence
Coach and grow the team of in-house and remote developers
Introduce and scale delivery practices fit for a modern cloud-native SaaS environment
Report on key metrics to internal and external stakeholders with transparency and confidence

Qualifications
Significant experience leading software delivery in a SaaS and/or cloud transformation context
Expertise in Scaled Agile (SAFe), Scrum, and agile planning at scale
Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms (we use Azure but knowledge of any of the main cloud platforms is great)
Background managing remote and globally distributed development teams of similar size to ours (12 staff)
Ideally competent in C# and T-SQL languages
Track record of improving delivery predictability, quality, and collaboration
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder and team leadership skills
