Job Title: Senior Textile Designer

Job Summary:
Aruwa Fashion is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Textile Designer to lead our fabric and print design initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in women’s apparel, with a keen eye for trends, color, and texture. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative textile designs that align with our brand aesthetics and seasonal collections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute original textile and surface designs for women’s apparel collections.
• Research market trends, color forecasts, and new fabric techniques to create trend-right designs.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
• Create print layouts, embroidery patterns, and fabric textures using digital tools.
• Coordinate with vendors and fabric suppliers for sampling and production approvals.
• Maintain design archives, color swatches, and artwork files systematically.
• Oversee junior designers and provide creative direction and feedback.
• Ensure all designs align with Aruwa Fashion’s brand identity and commercial goals.
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight seasonal deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in textile or fashion design (preferably women’s wear).
• Strong knowledge of fabric construction, printing techniques, and textile processes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and textile CAD software.
• Excellent sense of color, patterns, and material combinations.
• Strong visualization and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with cross-functional departments.
Preferred:
• Experience with digital printing and embroidery design.
• Familiarity with e-commerce fashion trends and product lifecycle.
Salary Range:
Competitive, based on experience and skill set.
