Experience Required: 4–7 years in carpet, textile, or related design field

As a Senior Designer , you will play a key role in developing new carpet collections, mentoring junior designers, and translating creative vision into products that can be woven with clarity and consistency. You will work closely with field teams, master weavers, and design leadership to ensure successful design execution on looms while also guiding aesthetic direction for both domestic and international markets. In addition to deep textile knowledge and creative leadership, Knowledge of AI-powered tools and digital design systems to push the boundaries of traditional carpet design.
Develop original carpet and rug designs that align with the brand's creative vision and market trends.
Lead the conceptualization and design of seasonal collections and special projects.
Translate design briefs into production-ready outputs (graph making, colorways, yarn selection).
Collaborate closely with field teams and regularly visit villages to guide weavers during sampling and prototyping.
Provide creative direction and hands-on mentoring to junior and assistant designers.
Maintain design documentation, technical specifications, and archive references.
Communicate effectively with internal teams (production, sales, marketing) for smooth execution.
Degree/Diploma in Textile Design, Carpet Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of experience in carpet/rug/textile design (handmade sector preferred).
Proficient in design tools like Texcelle, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, InDesign or other AI Tools.
Ability and willingness to travel to rural areas regularly for field implementation.
Fluent in Hindi and Rajasthani (spoken, for village training & communication).
Strong sense of aesthetics, design originality, and storytelling.
Experience in sustainable or craft-based design projects.
Ability to work cross-functionally with designers, artisans, and production teams.
A platform to lead meaningful design rooted in craft and community.
