About the role

As an Administration Officer – Radiology, you will play an important role in delivering efficient and high-quality administrative support to the Radiology Department. Reporting to the Clerical Supervisor and Practice Manager at the QE Specialist Centre Medical Imaging, you will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations by managing patient reception, appointment bookings, and a variety of clerical tasks in line with departmental policies and procedures.

In this role, you will be a key part of the multidisciplinary team, providing professional and welcoming front-line service to patients while supporting clinical staff with essential administrative functions. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of a responsive and patient-centred radiology service, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and excellent customer care in every interaction.

About You

You are a highly organised and reliable administration professional with excellent communication and customer service skills. Your ability to manage competing tasks, maintain confidentiality, and provide courteous and empathetic service ensures you contribute effectively to a patient-focused radiology environment.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Proven experience in health reception, administrative support, and using electronic booking systems and Microsoft applications.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills, with the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to new procedures while maintaining confidentiality under pressure.

Solid understanding of medical terminology, customer service principles, hospital administrative processes, and Work Health Safety requirements.
