Etechnique Pty Ltd (ETQ), established in 2000, is an Australian software company specialising in ERP solutions. It develops and supports Nexus ERP and related products like Storefront, EStocktake, and EDI, providing integrated business management systems for wholesalers, distributors, engineers, and manufacturers.
The Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Developer with strong experience to join our team and contribute to the development. Apply your expertise, technical acumen, and leadership skills to drive innovation and make a significant impact on our business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Designing and developing web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies including ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and C#, along with front-end frameworks
· Should have strong skills in Powerflex, contributing to the ongoing enhancement and support of Nexus ERP modules, with experience in developing, debugging, and optimizing Powerflex programs to improve functionality and ensure seamless system integration.
· Creating and maintaining SQL Server databases, including writing stored procedures, views, and triggers to support application functionality and performance tuning.
· Developing RESTful APIs for integration with third-party systems and internal modules, ensuring secure and scalable communication across platforms.
· Handling production support, identifying bugs, and implementing timely fixes to ensure smooth functioning of applications.
· Participating in peer code reviews and enforced coding standards and best practices for maintainability and performance.
· Utilizing Postman to test, validate, and document RESTful APIs, ensuring reliability, security, and adherence to functional requirements.
· Conducting root cause analysis and implemented long-term solutions for recurring issues, reducing downtime and improving application stability.
· Implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms for Web APIs using OAuth and JWT, ensuring secure access control and user identity verification.
· Designing and integrated exception handling strategies to capture and process errors gracefully, improving application reliability.
· Managing data migration activities during ERP upgrades or client onboarding, ensuring data integrity and seamless transitions.
· Utilizing Swagger/Open API for interactive API documentation, enabling developers to test endpoints, understand request/response formats, and maintain comprehensive API visibility.
What we’re looking for:
· Proven experience (commercial or personal projects) developing full-stack web applications.
· Strong hands-on experience in Powerflex
· Proficiency in MVC, C# and Web API.
· Understanding of RESTful APIs and Git-based workflows.
· Willingness to learn and experiment with AI APIs and automation platforms.
· Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of projects.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
