Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hauz Khas for a Fashion Graphic Designer at MOLEDRO. The Fashion Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating graphics, designing logos, working on branding projects, and implementing creative typography elements on a day-to-day basis.

The day-to-day responsibilities :
• Developing new design concepts; experimenting with colors, fabric and texture.
• Good sense of colors and perspective
• Print development and placement on actual patterns of the garments
• Using specialist software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs to develop a range of designs
• Report to the design team and partner on projects from concept to post-production
• Working independently or liaising closely with colleagues as part of a small team
• Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line and create new concepts
• Extensive market research and presenting story, mood and color boards and samples
• Liaising with clients and technical, marketing and buying staff to plan and develop designs
• Assessing and approving completed items and production standards; ensuring that projects are completed on time.
• Color reduction of prints to cater to seasonal palette, watercolors and other hand worked motifs
• Assist in sourcing fabrics and other materials at trade fairs, markets and antique shops
• Keeping up to date and spotting fashion trends in fabric design by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using internet resources

Qualifications
• Experience in Graphics, Graphic Design, and Typography
• Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding
• Fashion background is a must
• Knowledge of current design trends in the fashion industry
• Relevant degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Previous experience in Accessory Designing is a plus.
