Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead the creation and execution of world-class interior design concepts for ultra-luxury villas, ensuring a seamless blend of global aesthetics, technical precision, and superior detailing.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Concept Development: Create and develop luxury interior design concepts inspired by international influences and standards for ultra-luxury villas through the internal design studio.
Stakeholder Coordination: Take and interpret briefs from internal and external stakeholders to translate design intent into creative and executable solutions.
Design Presentations: Prepare and present design concepts, material boards and mood presentations to both internal leadership and external clients through effective story-telling
Technical Expertise:
Liaise with External Design Firms and/or prepare the concept designs, schematic layouts and design detailing in-house depending on the project demands
Lead and oversee preparation of GAs, GFCs, Detail Drawings and Shop Drawings incorporation as well as coordination
Suggest and present the best fits of the materiality and finishes as per the design demands, weather sustainability and cost accountability
Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Execution and Sales, ensuring timely completion up to snagging and handover to the clients
Ensure alignment of designs with engineering aspects including HVAC, AV, MEP, and structural systems
Material & Cost Knowledge: Possess deep understanding of sustainable materials, finishes, construction technologies, cost structures, and wastage factors.
Project Coordination: Work closely with consultants, vendors, and contractors at all project stages to ensure the design intent is maintained within approved budgets and timelines.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular site and factory visits to monitor design implementation, fabrication, and finishing quality.
Review and approve material samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
Design Governance: Collaborate with internal operations and project teams to incorporate functional and operational requirements into the design.
Consultant Liaison: Coordinate with architects, lighting designers, AV and MEP consultants, and other design professionals to ensure design synergy.
Creative Leadership: Stay abreast of international design trends, materials, and innovations, applying them to enhance the firm’s design language.
Reporting & MIS: Provide regular progress updates to senior management and maintain effective documentation of all design stages.
Job Requirements

Education: Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in luxury residential or mixed-use developments with reputed developers, design studios, or consultancy firms.
Expertise:
Proven ability to design and manage ultra-luxury or high-end interior projects.
Strong understanding of space planning, FF&E, materials, finishes, and detailing.
Knowledge of local building regulations and interior construction processes.
Experience in managing both concept and executive design stages.
A very good design story-telling capabilities, authoritative convincing power and effective formal communications
Skills:
Excellent design presentation and communication skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other visualization tools.
Ability to produce and review 2D drawings and 3D renderings regularly.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
Team player with the ability to mentor junior designers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
