Working Days: Monday to Friday, and 2nd & 4th Saturdays

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our daily accounting and finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong career foundation in finance within a dynamic and educational environment.

Experience & Qualification

Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred
Education: Graduate in Commerce or a related field
Gender: Open to all
Key Responsibilities

Prepare Quotations, Work Orders, Proforma Invoices, and Tax Invoices.
Prepare and issue student fee receipts and follow up with students/parents regarding pending payments.
Coordinate with vendors for payments.
Prepare Cheques, NEFT, and RTGS transactions.
Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records (Sales, Receipts, Journal, Payments, and Expenses) in Tally.
Reconcile bank statements, prepare Cash and Cheque Vouchers, and record Cash Entries.
Record and track Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Maintain proper documentation and filing for all statutory obligations.
Statutory Compliance Responsibilities

Working knowledge of GST (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).
Understanding of TDS (Sections and applicable deduction limits).
Assist in ensuring timely and accurate filing of statutory returns.
Other Duties

Provide support to the Senior Accountant and the Finance Team as needed.
Assist in audits, financial reporting, and internal documentation.
Skills & Attributes

Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
