Graduation/ Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute.
• 9-12 years of experience in reputed Engineering Consultancy Organization. Dual experience in Downstream & Upstream Oil & Gas Projects is preferred.

Job Description

Candidate shall be responsible for all Engineering for Procurement activities of Mechanical Static Equipment/Fabricated Equipment for petrochemical, downstream industries, and Upstream O & G Projects (Offshore Platforms) in India and abroad.

Engineering activity shall include,
• Review of ITB/ Tender Documents, Raising Technical Queries on ITB Documents to Licensors/Client/PMC, finalization of design basis.
• Preparation of complete mechanical design calculations and checking detail fabrication drawings of Separators, Pressure Vessels, Reactors, Tall Process Columns, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, API Storage tanks, Stacks and other static equipment as per international codes/ standards such as ASME, API, EN, TEMA, ASCE, Indian codes/standards-IS etc.
• All procurement activities such as preparation of Mechanical Data Sheet, Material requisition for Enquiry, Technical Bid Evaluation of vendor offers, Preparation of Purchase requisition, Vendor document review /approval of Static Equipment and Packages, namely Separators and Scrubbers, Pressure Vessels, Filters and Coalescer, Tall Process Columns, Column Internals, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers, Plate/Spiral Heat Exchangers, Electric Heater, Air cooled Exchangers, Agitators, Stacks, API Storage tanks, Silos, Flare Package and other static equipment intensive packages having multidiscipline interface requirements.
• Lead team of engineers on small scale project, ensure on time project delivery meeting customer requirement and required quality level, man hour control.
• Perform Package Responsible Engineer role on O&G offshore brownfield (maintenance and modification) projects. Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to carry out study work for conceptulising and defining modification scope of work. Prepare study reports and update it with inputs from various stakeholders including supplier information. Post study phase carry out engineering for procurement activities during EPC phase of modification work. Prepare job Cards for execution of modification scope by Site Personnel.
• Knowledge of quality aspect as per ISO 9001 is necessary.
• Effective verbal and written communication is necessary. Candidate shall have ability to interface with other engineering disciplines, Vendors and Clients.
