Qualification: B.E. Civil & M. Tech (Structural Engineering)
Location: Pune
Job Description
• Lead and manage the structural design of water infrastructure components, including:- Water and wastewater treatment plants, Intake structure, forebays, Pump House, Water storage tanks and reservoirs, Large-diameter pipelines and associated structures, Retaining walls, culverts, and structural supports.
• Perform advanced structural analysis and design in compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., BIS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, etc).
• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, calculations and reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, process, and electrical engineers.
• Conduct field investigations and structural assessments for existing facilities.
• Lead or support construction phase services including submittal reviews, RFIs, field inspections, and resolving design/construction issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
• Ensure designs are cost-effective, constructible, and meet quality and safety standards.
• Support project proposals, estimation, and bidding processes by providing technical inputs and scope definitions.
• To work out item wise bill of quantity of Project.
• To work out quantity estimation and bar bending schedule from drawings.
• Design approvals from government department and vetting institutes.
• Travelling on site/Government department for convincing, scrutiny & approval.
• Report writing and presentation skills is necessary.
