A Private Attorney/Lawyer is a licensed legal professional who provides tailored legal counsel and representation for private individuals or businesses. The main responsibilities typically include:

Communicating with clients to assess legal needs, offer advice, and develop case strategies.

Key qualifications include a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, state bar admission, expertise in the relevant area of law, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently or within a legal team.​

This role can vary widely depending on the specialization, whether in criminal, corporate, civil, family, or another legal field
• Advising clients on legal rights, obligations, risks, and options, and explaining likely outcomes.
• Representing clients in civil or criminal proceedings, including negotiations, mediations, trials, and courtroom advocacy.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, briefs, pleadings, wills, deeds, and appeals.
• Conducting legal research on statutes, case law, regulations, and judicial opinions to inform case preparation.
• Negotiating settlements between parties and striving for favorable resolutions.
• Ensuring compliance with laws and ethical standards; maintaining confidentiality and managing legal fees.
• Building trust-based relationships with clients, delivering proactive solutions, and maintaining accurate case and client records.

Specialist - Legal Operations

Location – Hyderabad #LI Hybrid

About the Role:

Responsible to Deliver high-quality, value-added information to Global attorneys and Scientists to:
a) Support ADACAP payments and purchase orders
b) Perform applications data checks related to the POs
c) Monitor for overall risk for payments support

Key Responsibilities:
• Search and analyze information in one scientific area of relevance: chemistry (structure searches) or molecular biology
• Manage timely delivery of reviews for publishing scientific content externally in support of active research programs or completed studies, based on in-house established search protocols
• Conduct, initially under supervision of a senior IP information analyst, review analysis determining the scope of searches and search results.
• Develop knowledge of patents and US, EP and international patent law
• Clear understanding of the request and delivery of the results as per the business requirement
• Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to ensure that the information needs of the Global scientists and attorneys are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Iteratively communicate (initially with the guidance of a senior IP information analyst) with the Global attorneys to ensure any IP sensitive information from being disclosed externally
• Communicate knowledge in an efficient and open manner with all members of the PRIAN team.

Role Requirements :

Essential Requirements
• Degree in Finance with 2 years of experience.
• A basic understanding and interest in patents.
• Some experience and interest using online and/or end-user patent and literature databases, internet resources.
• Strong customer-service focus to build and sustain good working partnerships with key stakeholders and project teams.
